Seshagiri R. Meka, MD, is an Anesthesiologist at Boston Surgery Center.

Dr. Meka, a native of India, received his medical degree from Rangaraya Medical College in 1972. He completed his residency training in Anesthesiology at Boston University Medical Center in 1980.

Dr. Meka has been affiliated with a number of Boston area hospitals throughout his career. He served as the Chief of Anesthesia at Boston Regional Medical Center for many years, and in 1990 was voted Physician of the Year.

In 2000, Dr. Meka joined Greater Boston Anesthesia Associates as an anesthesiologist and served on the staff at both the Deaconess Waltham Hospital and Milton Hospital. Dr. Meka currently provides anesthesia care for patients at Boston Surgery Center as well as office based anesthesia at numerous locations in the Boston area.

Dr. Meka is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
